Tongala Primary School has a very active Parents and Friends group. Their purpose is to raise funds for the school, through a number of different ways.
These include:
Special day lunches
Fathers/Mothers Day stalls
Catering for school/community events
Easter/Christmas Raffles
Bunnings Cake Stall
Whole school fundraisers
The money raised by our Parents and Friends group, goes directly back into the school and our students.
This helps our school to purchase items, such as:
Floor mats for our junior grades
Cooking utensils to support our cooking program
Sand pit toys
School aprons
Contributions towards major items, such as the Pergola covering the portable decking.
Parents and Friends meet once a month and anyone is welcome to become part of this valuable group.
