BYOD

Tongala Primary School has adopted a BYOD iPad program in Grade 3-6. This allows students who have their own iPad to bring them to school and use as part of their learning. The BYOD program allows students to have access to school based apps and the ability to be creative in their learning.

Those students who do not have their own device, have a bank of shared iPads which allows them to also take part in their learning through technology.

The school also has purchased robotics equipment, which are compatible to all iPad devices.

All students and families sign an acceptable use agreement and security, storage and safety is explicitly taught to the students at the start of the year.
